Handles the island’s beach tourism. In-terminal desks and some of the lowest prices in Spain year-round thanks to constant demand.
Where you pick up the car
Traditional companies (Europcar, Sixt, Hertz, Avis…) usually have an in-terminal desk in arrivals. Budget brands often operate from nearby offices with a free shuttle — not worse, but it adds 10-20 minutes: your booking voucher states exactly where to collect.
Night pickup
If your flight lands late, check the office opening hours before booking: some close at midnight and others charge an out-of-hours fee. The comparison engine shows each offer’s hours.
Returning with a full tank
Book full-to-full rates and refuel at a station near the airport just before returning (keep the receipt). Hunting for a petrol station on fumes is the classic last-day mistake.
Mistakes to avoid at TFS
- Booking late in high season: prices climb week by week from May.
- Accepting counter coverage you already bought online (you’d pay twice).
- Ignoring the excess: the cheapest rate can block €1,200 on your card.
- Returning without a fuel receipt: without proof, some branches charge inflated refuelling.
